The AMM policies aim to ensure that proper standards of integrity, accountability and transparency are being practiced by AMM and all implementing partners. These standards are intended to ensure adequate internal controls and compliance with all internal requirements.

AMM is governed and organized according to our Articles of Association as well as our Bylaws dictating how the Society is managed. These are confirmed by the AMM membership during our assembly of members.

AMM also has a number of operating procedures that help to inform a standard practice to how certain aspects of AMM are run such as support for external scientific events or the organisation of the AMM Study Groups.

All of these are encompassed in the code of conduct which we expect all members to abide to ensure a mutual respect for all members is established and maintained.

The procurement policy aims to ensure that proper standards of integrity, accountability and transparency are being practiced by AMM and all implementing partners. These standards are intended to ensure adequate internal controls and compliance with all internal requirements. All procurement activities should be conducted in a manner that ensures, to the greatest extent possible, open and free competition. The society abides by the following principles in all procurement activities:

• integrity of all personnel working with procurement;
• transparency throughout the whole procurement process;
• ethical behavior in all undertakings;
• impartiality towards candidates, tenderers, contractors and partners
